DRIVE synopsis:
MARY and husband RAY drive through a bleak north of England landscape en route to visit their son's grave. An accident with a dog, however, heralds a day of near disasters. Road-rage, shop lifting, queer bashing - all feature in this day in the life of an emotionally-estranged couple.
